 Reiki Weekend 2010Namaste! I am offering a Reiki level 1 and 2 weekend this fall. You may take one or both classes, but need to have taken level 1 to take level 2. Classes may be taken as a refresher in anticipation of future ART (level 3) and Master level classes. Level 1, Sat Oct 2 9-5pm Level 2, Sun Oct 3 9-5pm Level 1 lays the groundwork - background on the tradition, beginning to sense energy, meditations to assist movement into a sensory consciousness, learning about your Reiki guides, the first attunement to the power symbol, learning the basic hand positions, practice with a partner. Level 2 builds on 1 - knowledge of the first 3 symbols, additional meditations and techniques, the second attunement now to 3 symbols, sending Reiki long-distance, self-treatment, proxy healing, and practicing with a partner using the new symbols and techniques. Cost for each class is $150, book is included. Location is 3111 Caroline Street, South Bend, In 46614 in a private studio. Details on how to prepare and what to bring will be sent before we meet, so please register at least a week ahead and include your email address. Kim Sellers is a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui tradition. She has been teaching Reiki classes in Indiana and Michigan for the last few years. She has studied Reiki and received attunements from several teachers, most recently another master attunement from William Rand in Hawaii. The more people that learn and practice Reiki, the more peaceful our planet will be!  |
